Construction of public park fronting on the Potomac River in Georgetown, including site preparation, landscaping, walkways, site furniture, site lighting, in-ground lighting, bicycle racks, trees, shrubs, sod/seed, granite curbs, a labyrinth and new Pepco service.

 

Project Significance

This project demonstrates Fort Myer Construction’s ability to develop new urban parks and recreation facilities in high-profile urban residential/commercial areas in an integrated fashion, providing all earthwork, retaining walls, concrete and paver walkways, landscaping, site furniture, special design features such as a large circular in-ground labyrinth, all electrical features, wiring, site and in-ground lighting, and connections for new Pepco service.
