Comprehensive Field Maintenance and Management Services was a 5-year contract where Fort Myer Construction service approximately 159 acres of athletic fields at
68 sites operated by DPR in Wards 1 thru 8.
Fort Myer Construction’s responsibilities included: mowing, edging, trimming, weeding, seeding, sod installation, soil testing, irrigation services and restorative maintenance services. Removal of trash, plant, material and debris, leaves and invasive materials along with fertilization and emergency landscaping services.
Project Significance
This project demonstrated Fort Myer Construction’s ability to maintain integrated athletic and recreational facilities on a consistent basis.
