Due to long-term future community growth in the DC area, Pepco made a commitment to perform equipment and cable inspections, along with the necessary upgrades to accommodate recent service issues for new businesses and homes.

Fort Myer Construction’s team was responsible for installing approximately 500 lf of 5” fiberglass, 8-way duct bank encased in concrete, and roadway restoration of areas disturbed by our work.

 

Project Significance

This type of work is part of Pepco’s Reliability Enhancement Plan. A plan intended to increase reliability of the distribution system across DC by reducing both the frequency and duration of outages.
