Fort Myer Construction was retained for this pavement restoration IDIQ 4 Year Option contract as part of Fairfax Water’s efforts to quickly restore concrete and asphalt after the replacement of water mains and other underground utilities.

 

Fort Myer’s scope of work is to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide patch or restore new asphalt paving and remove all excavated materials off-site. In addition to providing restoration to curb and gutters, sidewalks, valve boxes, curb boxes, and any other improvements that are associated with roadway infrastructure.

 

Project Significance

This contract requires our team to always be on-call. As projects arise, our crews are available 24/7 to restore and install new asphalt paving or other roadway infrastructure issues. By Fort Myer owning and operating multiple asphalt plants. We are able to support our own paving jobs by providing a variety of standard approved asphalt mixes. We also ensure that we are providing effective communication with Fairfax Water, residents and local businesses that might be affected.
