DCA AIRSIDE PAVEMENT REPAIRS IDIQ
Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority procured Fort Myer Construction for this indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract to help streamline the contract process and speed service delivery of asphalt repairs at Ronald Regan Washington National Airport. This contract was for a single base year with two option years. Fort Myer furnished labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision to perform routine repairs to bituminous concrete airfield pavements on an on-call basis. Fort Myer also provided a crew with an excavator and operator to sort and dispose of miscellaneous debris and pavement debris off-site.
Project Significance
This project demonstrates Fort Myer Construction’s ability to mobilize on an on-call basis and perform work within a secure location with all personnel requiring security clearance. This project also shows Fort Myer Construction’s capability of repairing concrete and asphalt pavement as-needed and disposing of various piles of debris as requested by MWAA.
