This IDIQ contract is comprised of providing milling and asphalt paving to all National Highway System (NHS) highways and other roads that serve major airports, rail or truck terminals, railway stations, pipeline terminals and other strategic transport facilities.
 
Fort Myer is a subcontractor to Capital Paving on this contract. Fort Myer’s responsibilities include the maintenance of all major roadways and arteries of the nation’s capital by providing pothole repairs, cracked sealing repairs, milling, and asphalt paving.
 

Project Significance

Every four years, Fort Myer has the opportunity to provide milling and paving work along Pennsylvania Avenue to prepare the route for Presidential Inauguration Day. This job has been showcased in World Highways magazine for the great work.
