Modification/rehabilitation of curbs and gutters, sidewalk and wheelchair/bicycle ramps, installation of a retaining wall at the corner of Reservoir Road NW and Foxhall Road NW, along with the upgrading of traffic signals, resurfacing the roadway and line striping from Reservoir Road, NW to Nebraska Ave NW (2 miles) to enhance all aspects of vehicular and pedestrian safety.

 

Project Significance:

Highlights FMCC’s ability to complete important safety improvement projects in suburban areas of DC, with the goal of providing quality work and successfully completing the project expediently to minimize the inconvenience to residents. In addition, FMCC proposed a value engineering package that reduced construction time and resulted in a savings of $250,000 for the District of Columbia.
